Veronica Modra

With over 30 years of experience in the dental industry, Veronica is a highly skilled and deeply compassionate Dental Hygienist committed to supporting patients in achieving long-term oral and overall health. She holds an Associate Diploma of Dental Hygiene (with Distinction) from Adelaide and has worked across periodontics, orthodontics, general practice, and as a clinical demonstrator at Charles Sturt University. 

Veronica’s passion lies in education and empowerment—helping individuals understand the connection between oral health and general health, and supporting them to take an active role in their care. She specialises in the treatment and long-term management of periodontal disease, building strong and trusting relationships with patients through tailored maintenance plans.  

Since joining City Gardens Dental, Veronica has found immense value in the team environment, clinical peer support, and access to modern technology—all of which allow her to deliver the highest standard of hygiene care. Her personal philosophy is built on empathy, education, early intervention and lifelong maintenance—creating a safe, collaborative space where patients feel listened to, respected, and in control of their dental journey. 

A proud Wodonga local since 2003, Veronica has raised her two sons in the region and has long-standing connections to the local community. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys hiking, enjoying great food and wine with friends, and visiting her sons in Melbourne.
