Dr Alistair McIntosh

As a Principal Dentist and Co-Owner of City Gardens Dental, Dr Alistair McIntosh combines over 14 years of hands-on clinical experience with a clear, long-term vision for high-quality, patient-first dentistry. Holding both a Bachelor of Health Science in Dentistry and a Master of Dentistry, Alistair leads the practice with warmth, integrity and a commitment to building a supportive environment for both patients and team. 

Alistair treats patients of all ages—from young children attending their first dental visit to adults managing complex oral health needs. His clinical expertise spans all areas of general dentistry, with a particular interest in rehabilitation dentistry: helping patients who have experienced significant dental decline regain function, confidence and comfort. He approaches each case with thoughtfulness and care, considering not just the immediate outcome, but how decisions made today will impact oral health in the decades to come. 

Alistair is actively involved in shaping the practice’s culture, mentoring staff, and ensuring the team continues to grow in both skill and confidence. His strong relationships with both team and patients are at the heart of the clinic’s success. 

Having called Albury-Wodonga home for more than a decade, Alistair has firmly put down roots in the community. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, gardening, boardgames with friends, and motorbike adventures across Australia and abroad.
